Leeds Workshop.
My name is Simon Bennett I am the 3rd year apprentice in the Leeds workshop. While I was still at school I decided that I would like a career in engineering and started to research various company's local to me and the one that stood out offering good training, good pay and a friendly working environment was Barloworld.
Having been successful in gaining an apprenticeship I believe that the training is very up to date and is taught in a way that is both interesting and very understandable. The training gained from our college blocks is also very good,learning about trucks but also cars, which helps to develop my skills even further.
I am now coming to the end of my 3rd year at college and have enjoyed my time there. I am now looking forward to going on the be a field service engineer and face new challenges each day.
Each day you learn something different and no two days are the same, and if anyone is interested in an engineering apprenticeship then I would defiantly recommend Barloworld Handling.
