Doncaster workshop.
I first saw a vacancy for an apprenticeship at Barlowor
ld in the local paper. I decided to research the company and after reading the website decided I definitely wanted to apply.
After a few weeks I received an invitation to an assessment exam and interview which were both very relaxed. After a short while I received a letter telling me I had got the job.
The company has been great to me so far, buying me any equipment I may need and sending me on training course to help me carry out my duties. The other engineers have also helped me a lot as I had never done anything like this before.
The work is good because you’re doing something different everyday, as an apprentice you learn new things everyday here.
